Small Group Training
While working with a personal trainer is a great way to work towards achieving your fitness goals, it is simply unaffordable for a segment of the
population. I have found that I can work quite effectively with a
small group of 2-4 clients, teaching them everything they need to know,
while monitoring their form and encouraging them toward their goals.
The added benefit here is that each group of clients begins to develop
their own sense of community, encouraging and challenging one another
toward higher levels of fitness. I offer this package to groups as
small as 2 and as large as 4.
Although other packages are available, all group training packages
start out with a frequency of 3 times per week for 4 weeks, so that I
can accurately assess the fitness level of each member of the group.
Additionally, this gives each member of the group an opportunity to
learn the core movements that we will be using in our workouts.
Rates for this service are based on the size of the group and the
frequency of the sessions. If you are interested, please contact me
for more information.
Corporate / Small Business Training
If you are a business owner on Cape Cod, looking to help yourself and
your employees improve their health, while reducing their risk of
injury, my group training product is an excellent option for you. I
will come to your location at pre-set times and dates to work with you
and your employees as a group to reach your fitness goals.
This can also be a time of bonding between employees, improving the
overall environment and communication taking place throughout the
workday. You supply the space (a cleared out conference room or warehouse space is ideal), I'll supply the equipment and the
instruction.
Home Gym Design
Purchasing exercise equipment for your home use can be a tricky
process. You see ads on television for all kinds of equipment ranging
from the excellent (Perfect Pull-up handles) to the insane (the
Gazelle.) Which ones do you spend your limited fitness budget on?
I can help. I can walk you through the process, helping you to buy the
best equipment for your space and budget. This will be different for
each client. Some of you will want to dedicate a whole room, or even a
garage and have a budget in excess of $1,000. Others will be
purchasing a few pieces of equipment to store under your bed in a small
apartment and a budget of $50/month. Regardless of these issues, I can
get you set up with the best possible equipment for your unique
situation.
I promise that you will not end up with worthless pieces that you will
be looking to sell at a garage sale in 5 years. I started my own home
gym 5 years ago, with a very small budget. Since then I have slowly
added pieces to where I have a world class training facility in my
garage. I've done all of this for less than it would have cost me to
have a gym membership for that same period, and every piece of
equipment that I own gets used regularly by my wife Lisa and me.
I can get you started for less than the cost of the typical gym initiation fee and first month's dues.
